Damian A. Tamburri

Associate ProfessorEindhoven University of Technology & Jheronimus Academy of Data Science

Damian is an Associate Professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology and the Jheronimus Academy of Data Science, in s’Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. At JADS he lectures the Big Data Engineering and Deep Learning courses, while lending a hand in the Machine-Learning pre-master course. His research interests rotate around Data-Intensive Services DevOps/DataOps, Social Software Engineering, and Artificial-Intelligence Software. Damian has published over 150+ papers in either top Journals or conferences in Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Services and AI Computing. Also, Damian has been an active contributor and lead research in many EU FP6, FP7, and H2020 projects, such as S-Cube, MODAClouds, SeaClouds, DICE, ANITA, DossierCLOUD, ProTECT, and more. In addition, Damian is IEEE Software and ACM TOSEM editorial board member, secretary of the TOSCA TC as well as secretary of the IFIP TC2, TC6, and TC8 WG on “Service-Oriented Computing”. Damian is very sociable so ask any question you wish of him and he’ll do the best to answer; furthermore, Damian’s favourite poison is Amuerte Gin with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic, so ask him about Gin&Tonics as well if you wish!

Finbar Hage

Head of the digital heart of Rabobank. The tribes Digital Customer Processes and Digital Platform ensure the seamless customer experiences across the company and all (digital) channels. Previously Finbar setup the group (advanced) data & analytics function within Rabobank.

Prior to joining Rabobank Finbar worked as head of digital at Thomas Cook, in digital banking and online publishing. Finbar holds a double degree from Rotterdam Erasmus University and Leiden University.

Hilary Richters

Hilary Richters is a Director within Deloitte and the lead of the Deloitte Digital Ethics team. Hilary set up the Deloitte Digital Ethics team and developed the Digital Ethics program which seeks to understand and embed societal values in a practical way in organisations, giving them the tools to follow their moral compass when using data and technology. Furthermore Hilary is on the work floor and in life an advocate of and strong believer in the power and value of Inclusion and Diversity.

Marc Salomon

Dean of the Amsterdam Business School & Professor Decision Science to the UvAUvA

Marc is a member of the Big Data Alliance board, Dean/Professor at the University of Amsterdam Business School (ABS) and Director of the MBA in Big Data & Business Analytics. His research interests are in the field of Operations Research with applications to areas such as transport and logistics, marketing and professional service firms.

Prior to joining the University of Amsterdam, Marc was COO at the law firm Stibbe (2004-2013), COO and Director of Research at McKinsey & Company (1998-2004), director of the Center for Applied Mathematics at Rabobank (1996-1998) and professor in Operations Research at Tilburg University (1996 – 2005).

Marc holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Econometrics from the VU University Amsterdam and a PhD in Business & Operations Research from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Marieke Peeters

Empowering People with Human-centered & Responsible AIMooncake AI

Marieke Peeters (Mooncake AI) is an experienced researcher in the design of human-agent systems. She received her PhD at the University of Utrecht for her work on agent-supported scenario-based training. She continued her academic work on human-AI systems design and engineering at the University of Delft, and as a senior research scientist at TNO. Recently, she uses her expertise to address the challenges of developing real-world human-AI systems. She is the founder of Mooncake AI, a startup-company devoted to empowering people with applied responsible and human-centered AI.

Naomi van der Louw

Naomi van der Louw is Legal Counsel bij DDMA, branchevereniging voor data en marketing. In deze functie helpt zij DDMA-leden met allerlei juridische vraagstukken. Ze is gespecialiseerd in het privacyrecht en marketing, specifiek in reclame op sociale media. Hierbij ligt de focus op de praktische vertaalslag van wetgeving, regels en richtlijnen naar de marketingpraktijk.
